MARCH IS MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS AWARENESS MONTH

At Jefferson Comprehensive, we believe in treating the whole person.  This month along with the Multiple Sclerosis foundation, we are increasing the awareness about Multiple Sclerosis. We believe that it is important to be educated so that you can aid in the best outcome possible for whatever diagnosis that you are given. March is recognized as Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month.  Multiple Sclerosis affects  the brain and spinal cord.  Early MS symptoms include weakness, tingling, numbness, and blurred vision. Other signs are muscle stiffness, thinking problems, and urinary problems.  Treatment can relieve MS symptoms and delay disease progression.  It is essential to know that having MS does not mean that you are going to die.  MS is not a fatal disease and many people that have it can have a life expectancy similar to people that do not have the disease. If you are experiencing any of the symptoms stated, don't delay, make your appointment today by calling (601) 786-3475!  AT  JEFFERSON COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH, WE HAVE A GREAT MEDICAL STAFF THAT IS AVAILABLE TO MEET YOUR HEALTH NEEDS!
